Carl Frampton is one of the most well-known boxers in the UK, if not the world, however he had no real consistency across his digital channels and what he stood for as a brand. During late 2017 thinkBeyond Talent took the opportunity to ‘relaunch’ Carl by stripping it all back and understanding what he stood for, what he wants his legacy to look like, and how a new digital and brand strategy could better represent him both personally and commercially.
thinkBeyond Talent brought in Yorkshire based creative agency The Lift Agency to lead on this new strategy and work closely with Carl to develop his digital foot print. After fully understanding what makes Carl tick they implemented a plan that covered off creation of a new logo, a fresh functional website that enables fans to engage with Carl, design of fight kit that keeps on brand, creation of key tag lines of focus in lead up to fights, merchandise design, as well as image, content creation and delivery for his social media channels, with a heavy focus on Instagram. Since the introduction of this new strategy his following on Instagram has increased by 50,000 followers.
