Zoe Harrison is one of the brightest talents in English Rugby. Having followed in her father and elder brother’s footsteps, Zoe started playing rugby at just 5 years old. At 14, she was selected for the England Talent Development Group and began her accent through the ranks of the Players Pathway. Zoe had a very successful youth international career, as part of the England U18’s 7’s squad she became a European Champion in 2015 and European Plate Champion in 2016 before quickly moving into successful spells in the England u20 side.
Zoe made the step up to senior rugby at the beginning of the 2016/17 season where she was named as Saracens Player’s Player of the Year and was the top points scorer in the premiership. Zoe played a key role in the 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 Tyrells Premier 15’s finals for Saracens, helping them 3 titles in five years and recorded the most points of any player in the 2020-2021 and 2021-22 seasons. Zoe’s first appearance as a Red Rose was in the 2017 Autumn Internationals against Canada and has maintained her place within the Red Roses, playing in the proceeding Autumn Internationals and Women’s Six Nations.
In January 2019, Zoe signed her first full-time contract and was key in the Red Roses winning the 2019 Six Nations Grand Slam and featured heavily in all five games of the Super Series 2019. She has since gone on to win three more Six Nations titles with England and played a key role in the teams success.
Having played the most minutes of any player in the Rugby World Cup 2021 squad, Zoe led England's back line against New Zealand in the final but came agonisingly short giving the nation their third women's World Cup victory. Zoe and the team will be aiming to come back stronger and achieve World Cup glory at Twickenham in 2025.
Since the start of her senior career, Zoe has gone on to win 3x Premier Championships with Saracens, as well as being a 4x Six Nations Grand Slam Winner with England.
Away from the pitch, Zoe has graduated from Middlesex University with a First in Sports Rehabilitation & Exercise.
